The role sits within a global analytics and technology function supporting leadership through enterprise reporting, data intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives. Role at a Glance Location Goregaon, Mumbai Work Mode 5 days per week from office Level Vice President (equivalent to Senior Manager) Industry Global Consulting / Advisory / Professional Services Experience 10+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering Core Platform Microsoft Fabric — mandatory, hands-on production experience Non-Negotiable Requirements Applications will not be considered unless every criterion below is met. Hands-on, production-level Microsoft Fabric experience — Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, and Fabric-based data pipelines. Certification or training alone does not qualify. 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering Strong, demonstrated expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS Proven leadership experience managing BI teams and senior stakeholders Candidates without confirmed, hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience in a production environment will not be considered, regardless of other qualifications. Key Result Areas / Responsibilities BI Strategy & Leadership Define and drive the Business Intelligence roadmap aligned to global business goals Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into data solutions Build a scalable BI Center of Excellence framework Reporting & Analytics Delivery Own enterprise dashboards, management reporting, KPI scorecards, and self-service analytics Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting for leadership teams Improve reporting automation and reduce manual processes Data Engineering & Platforms Oversee BI platforms including Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure Data Lake Own hands-on Microsoft Fabric implementation — Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, and Fabric-based data pipelines Manage ETL / ELT pipelines, semantic models, and cloud reporting ecosystems Drive modernisation of legacy reporting systems onto Microsoft Fabric Governance, Security & Controls Establish data governance standards, access controls, data quality, and audit readiness Manage Power BI tenant governance, licensing, security, and performance optimisation Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements Team Leadership Lead and mentor Managers, BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Analysts Build a performance-driven culture with strong ownership and innovation mindset Manage hiring, succession planning, and capability development Cross Functional Collaboration Work with Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, and Leadership teams on analytics needs Standardise data definitions and reporting frameworks across functions Good to Have Python / R / Advanced Analytics Snowflake / AWS exposure
