About the role
As the Vice President of Business Intelligence & Analytics at a leading global consulting and advisory organization, your role will involve driving enterprise-wide reporting, business intelligence, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives. You will play a key part in defining and executing the Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with global business objectives, partnering with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into scalable data and analytics solutions, and establishing a Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE). Your responsibilities will include owning enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting for leadership teams. You will lead the management and optimization of BI platforms, oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, and drive modernization and transformation of legacy reporting infrastructure. Additionally, you will establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, manage Power BI tenant administration, and promote data integrity and enterprise-wide reporting consistency. Leading and developing a high-performing team of Managers, BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Analysts will be crucial, along with fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to address analytics and reporting requirements, standardize enterprise-wide data definitions, and act as a trusted advisor on data strategy and business intelligence initiatives. Desired Candidate Profile: - 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related domains. - Proven leadership experience managing large BI teams and senior business stakeholders. - Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT frameworks. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Cloud-based Data & Analytics Platforms. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. - Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels. Good to Have: - Experience with Python, R, or Advanced Analytics. - Exposure to Snowflake and AWS ecosystems. - Experience working in consulting, advisory, or global shared services environments.
