Engineer (IT)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 2 years of experience in testing mobile applications and websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our digital products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications and websites. Execute manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation. Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and follow up with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Participate in requirement review and design review meetings to provide QA Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for quality Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency. Additional Responsibilities Coordinate with the team and resolve their day-to-day issues. Assist in training of team for applications. Required Skills & Qualifications bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with bug tracking tools (eg, JIRA, Bugzilla). Knowledge of testing techniques and approaches for different phases of testing (functional, integration, system, and regression testing). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently. Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum/ Waterfall development processes Experience with performance testing and security testing. Knowledge of scripting languages (eg JavaScript, Python). ISTQB Certification or an equivalent certification in Quality Assurance. Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA, specifically in mobile app and website testing. Proficiency in manual testing; experience with automated testing tools (eg, Selenium, Appium) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently. A proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing
