Software Engineer - Senior

Job Summary Responsible for building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Key participant in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Following skills and expereince is must for the role. Strong SQL and stored procedure experience. Exposure to service layer development and experience in converting database-centric business logic into application services. Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. Understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns. Ability to analyze legacy applications and modernize solutions by moving business logic from stored procedures into scalable application services. Experience with database integration, transaction management, exception handling, and performance optimization. Education, Licenses, Certifications College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Experience working as a software engineer with the following knowledge and experiences are preferred: Working in Agile environments; Fundamental IT technical skill sets; Taking a system from coping requirements through actual launch of the system; Communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines; Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
