Role Overview: As an Assistant Project Engineer at Cushman & Wakefield, your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and manage resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to plan. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor progress of work with respect to Master project schedule - Monitor the execution of work at the site to ensure alignment to the drawings and specifications - Provide timely reminders to all contractors about delays in the schedule - Ensure workability and adherence to standards in the work statement/methodologies submitted by contractors for each item of work - Responsible for all site work-related documentation for the assigned items of work - Anticipate and flag imminent bottlenecks, taking steps to avoid delays - Advice contractors in enhancing resource productivity by implementing various work study techniques - Monitor procurement of materials, equipment, and labor by contractors with respect to the time schedule and advise them on suitable measures for improvement - Administer all contracts and assist in the resolution of differences and disputes arising during the contract duration - Assist QA/QC in charge in ensuring all quality parameters are met - Assist the safety team in implementing safety standards at the site and provide support for job safety analysis - Escalate to the project manager about all abnormal developments regarding progress of work, safety, quality, resources, etc. - Clarify specifications and continuously liaise with accountable Project Manager internally - Monitor construction activity, schedule, milestones, and adherence to budgets, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance cost - Provide cost-saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders - Manage the project's risk management process - Implement systems requirements in the installation and test plans of the Contractor for the detailed planning and construction phase until final takeover is completed - Ensure project construction & safety management plans are fully implemented Qualifications Required: - B.E. in Civil Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience in buildings - Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works - Excellent organizational and motivational skills - Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities Note: The additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description.
