About the job: Profile: Trainee Software TesterBatch: 2025 & 2026Qualification: BE/ B.Tech CSE onlyTechnology/Area :JAVA , MANUAL , AUTOMATIONJob Location: IndoreJoining: ImmediateJob Overview :We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation.Responsibilities:Test Case Design: Develop and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of software applications across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.Automation (Optional): Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (if applicable).User Experience Testing: Evaluate the user experience to ensure that the application meets the users expectations.Qualifications:Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, testing life cycle, and software development life cycle (SDLC).Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members.Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc. (preferred but not mandatory).Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
