Software Architect (.NET, AWS)

As a Software Architect at CyberArk, your role will involve designing scalable high-performance applications and working with a team of talented software engineers to innovate, implement, and support the product roadmap. You will be responsible for the software architecture, design, and documentation of software projects, as well as coaching less experienced team members. Your involvement will span multiple phases of the software life cycle, including analyzing tech requirements, managing Tech Debts, and ensuring adherence to CyberArk Engineering practices and security coding guidelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues in various roles, participate in requirements gathering and analysis, and ensure performance and security requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: - Designing software architecture and documenting it for software projects. - Writing and reviewing Low Level Design documents, setting coding standards and conventions. - Coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. - Analyzing tech requirements and managing Tech Debts. - Working collaboratively with peers and taking a leading role on features or refactors. - Validating designs through proof of concepts and ensuring business goals are met with a long-term outlook. - Assisting in project management, including cost and effort estimation. - Specifying nonfunctional requirements and participating in hiring team members. - Ensuring adherence to CyberArk Engineering practices and security coding guidelines. Qualification Requirements: - 8-10 years of hands-on experience in web development, Microservices, and other web design patterns. - 4+ years of experience as a Software Architect. - 6+ years of hands-on experience with .Net framework and related concepts. - 2+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX, JavaScript, and Angular. - Strong decision-making skills with consideration for architectural and business aspects. - Experience in system integration design patterns and risk mitigation. - Proficiency in web services such as REST and SOAP, and a good understanding of security best practices. - Experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases. - Familiarity with Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspections practices. Additional Information: - BE / B Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification is highly desired. - Experience in Cybersecurity domain/products, particularly Identity Access Management, is a plus.
