Operate 24x7, triage alerts from SIEM and other channels, escalate incidents per SOPs, support vulnerability and incident management processes, and contribute to SOC tuning and documentation. Required Qualification Minimum 2 years SOC experience; hands-on with QRadar and log/incident management. Robust understanding of TCP/IP, common network services, host-based security and OS concepts (Linux/Windows). Certifications - CEH - CCNA - ISO 27001 (any one mandatory) Responsibilities - Monitor security events from SIEM (QRadar), tickets, email and phone and triage based on severity. - Escalate incidents to Tier-2, managed service teams or customers as appropriate and maintain accurate incident records. - Participate in incident response, vulnerability management and SOC process improvements. - Recommend and assist with tuning and optimization of security systems and detection rules. - Follow ITIL practices for incident, problem and change management and maintain build documents and runbooks. - Communicate effectively with customers, teammates and management; provide input for process/procedure enhancements. - Trace endpoints on the network and analyse system logs; perform basic network/TCP-IP troubleshooting.
