About the role
Title: Systems Engineer
Job Duties/Responsibilities: Define systems requirements and required integration with existing applications, systems, and platforms Develop detailed functional designs and prototypes; Design and support system enhancements Work on configuration and security of web and application server products and administer software applications hosted on Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server and Microsoft IIS Maintain and administer operating systems, server security and Microsoft services Create troubleshooting procedures and coordinate system recovery and troubleshooting activities.
Qualification Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field + 1 year exp. in the Job Offered or in Software Systems Design and Maintenance tasks. In lieu of the Master’s degree + 1 year exp., Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience or any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
