About the role
Key Responsibilities Execute assigned engineering projects independently with minimal supervision Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global customer teams Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers during project execution Proactively seek inputs, clarify requirements, and ensure successful delivery of the defined scope of work Participate in multiple phases of product development including design, analysis, integration, and testing Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, customer requirements, and internal processes Demonstrate flexibility to work across time zones to support global stakeholders Maintain strong communication through clear documentation, reports, and stakeholder interactions Technical Competencies Core Skills 6+ years of experience in the aerospace domain (preferred) Strong experience in electrical wiring design and development lifecycle Expertise in: Electrical system architecture design Functional schematics Wiring & harness design Formboard design Hands-on experience in: Wiring/harness component selection Manufacturing BOM preparation Electrical drafting standards Analysis & Design Expertise Electrical Load and Power Source Capacity Analysis: AC Analysis DC Analysis Battery Analysis Strong knowledge of: Electrical circuits theory Electrical power systems Analog and digital electronics Experience in: EMI/EMC design implementation Electrical panel wiring design Functional checks and validation Continuity and functional schedule preparation Advanced/Preferred Skills Experience in 3D harness design Exposure to integration and testing of wiring/harness on aircraft Knowledge of: Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Testing (DFT) Tools & Systems Proficiency in: Captial Essentials (Capital Logic / Harness XC) or equivalent Working knowledge of: CATIA Teamcenter or similar PLM tools Standards & Processes Strong understanding of aerospace standards such as: MIL-STD-704D MIL-W-5088L / SAE AS50881 MIL-E-7016 MIL-STD-464 MIL-STD-461 MIL-B-5087 DO-160 Knowledge of: Configuration management Requirements traceability Product lifecycle management (PLM) processes Behavioral & Professional Skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently with a positive attitude and high ethical standards Strong collaboration skills across global teams Proficiency in MS Office tools Fluency in spoken and written English .
