Process Engineer

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai Industry: Oil & Gas – Onshore & Offshore Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 10+ Years Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience to support onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects . The role involves leading process design activities, preparing key engineering deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical compliance and project execution excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and review of PFDs, P&IDs , heat and material balances, and process simulations. Prepare and review process datasheets for major equipment and instruments. Perform hydraulic and line sizing calculations, relief valve sizing, and flare system analysis. Participate in safety studies such as HAZOP, SIL, and QRA and support risk assessments. Ensure compliance with API, ASME, IEC , and other relevant international standards. Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines throughout project phases. Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in process engineering for EPC oil & gas projects (onshore/offshore). Proficient in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Pro II, or equivalent . Strong knowledge of industry codes and client specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
