About the role
x000D x000D At least 1 to 2 years of software industry experience x000D x000D Certification PL- SQL, OCA & OCP x000D x000D Database creation and maintenance x000D x000D DBMS infrastructure creation and support x000D x000D Process and technical documentation x000D x000D Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system x000D x000D Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance x000D x000D To pro- actively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime x000D x000D Responsible for providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management x000D x000D Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate x000D x000D Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include roll- out and upgrades x000D x000D Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team x000D x000D Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service Qualification: Any graduate/ Diploma/ BE/ MCA/ MCM/ MCS/ MSc x000D x000D Skill sets: Oracle 11g/ 12c, PL- SQL, R- MAN Backup, Hot/ Cold Backup, Performance Tuning, Log Monitoring x000D x000D
