We architect scalable enterprise systems, ensure seamless data flow, and deliver exceptional web and mobile experiences enabling clients to maximize efficiency and compliance. The Opportunity: Core Backend Reliability We are seeking a specialist Lead Backend Engineer to design, develop, and own the core microservices and data architecture for our mission-critical enterprise platform. This role is crucial for ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of our distributed systems, leveraging C#, .NET Core, MS SQL Server, and RabbitMQ. You will contribute to architectural decisions and mentor peers on backend best practices. Purpose of the Role To design, develop, and own the stability and performance of our core backend microservices and data architecture. You will be responsible for implementing high-speed, reliable APIs and resilient distributed systems using C#, .NET Core, MS SQL, and RabbitMQ. Core Technology Stack Core Focus Technologies & Tools Backend & APIs C# / .NET Core (v8.0+), High-Performance Microservices Data Architecture MS SQL Server (Advanced Query Optimization, Indexing, T-SQL) Data Access Dapper (High-Speed ORM) for efficient data access layers Distributed Systems RabbitMQ (or Azure Service Bus/Kafka) for reliable messaging. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities System Integration: Architect and implement distributed systems, ensuring robust, reliable communication using RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging. Backend Mastery: Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance APIs and scalable microservices using C# and .NET Core . Data Integrity & Optimization: Design, optimize, and manage complex database schemas and utilize Dapper for writing and tuning T-SQL queries. Architecture & Governance: Collaborate on defining architectural roadmaps, conduct expert code reviews, and enforce security and performance best practices. Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor mid-level developers on system design and performance tuning; collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and monitoring. Required Expertise (5+ Years) Backend Mastery: Mastery of C# and .NET Core (v8.0+) for building robust, high-availability APIs. Database Expertise: Deep expertise in MS SQL Server administration, query optimization, indexing, and T-SQL development. Performance: Proven experience implementing high-performance data access layers using Dapper . Messaging: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RabbitMQ (or similar message brokers) for asynchronous communication and distributed transaction patterns. Architectural Fluency: Strong understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with modern testing frameworks (e.g., XUnit, NUnit). Prior experience in the HVAC / Enterprise Platform domain. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science.
