About the role
As a Software Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance software solutions for the Flow Cytometry instruments. You will work in a collaborative team environment and execute all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing instrument software with a focus on quality and timely delivery - Taking ownership of the design and implementation of software modules - Performing quality assurance activities such as risk analysis, technical reviews, and code inspections - Supporting software maintenance and enhancements - Driving continuous improvement of software development processes Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in commercial software development - Hands-on expertise in C# and desktop applications such as WPF - Strong understanding of software design principles - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have previous experience in software development processes in a regulated environment, experience using MFC, and experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
