About the role
As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing software modules on web sites and back office systems. You should have a strong technical background and must be able to work effectively within an Agile team, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software using Java 8/12 - Utilize frameworks such as Spring MVC, REST, Spring Boot, Hibernate (Optional Play) - Work with Oracle DB and have familiarity with Elastic Search (Optional but good to have) - Write unit tests using Junit and Mockito - Have knowledge of messaging systems, specifically how RabbitMQ works - Embrace Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies - Demonstrate good understanding of Core-Java concepts - Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery frameworks like Jenkins - Work with Apache and Tomcat servers - Basic knowledge of AWS is a plus - Possess strong communication abilities and excel in team-working skills Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in Java programming - Familiarity with Spring frameworks and Hibernate - Experience working with databases, preferably Oracle - Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ - Understanding of Agile and TDD practices - Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools - Basic understanding of AWS services Please note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.
