AI QA Engineer (Automation)

Be a vital part of the engineering team, to deliver mission critical software. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with Product Management, Developers and be a hands-on tester of Medidata's software applications with React/Ruby on Rails/Java/Scala, relational and non-relational databases, and Cloud Services. - Analyze, plan, design, develop, implement and maintain software in a production environment - Advocate for and apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, automated infrastructure and observability - Use test driven strategies to ensure code quality, and collaborate with the team to ensure feature quality - Leverage agile methodologies to anticipate and mitigate risks, ensure team health and manage complex tasks Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid and junior level Test Engineers, in sharing knowledge and encouraging professional growth. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks as well as organize the construction and structure of test protocols - Establish test methodologies, documentation, and acceptance criteria for manual testing or test automation frameworks. - Analyze architecture and designs to identify test automation strategies to provide full test coverage for new and / or existing features. Identify and articulate gaps in architecture or design. - Using coding standards, design and develop automated tests at varying levels of scope that implement tests for acceptance, integration, load, system, reliability, etc. - Perform code reviews and follow software development best practices. - Create and maintain documentation as it pertains to the test framework and test related artifacts. - Configure, execute, and monitor results of automated suites within a CI infrastructure. - Generate defect reports and verify correct technical fixes. Investigate / isolate root cause of defects. - Develop and implement dashboards and quality metrics associated with test automation results.
