Agentic Platform Engineer (TypeScript / Azure / SQL)

Project overview: This project focuses on designing and building a cloud based platform that enables intelligent data processing and knowledge discovery. The solution integrates vector search, knowledge graphs, and retrieval augmented generation to deliver advanced AI capabilities across multiple business use cases. Position overview: We are looking for an Agentic Platform Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript, Azure, and SQL. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable platform capabilities for AI enabled products using a TypeScript, Azure, and SQL stack. The position is open to both strong middle and senior specialists who are comfortable contributing to backend and platform services. Standard Working Hours: Standard India shift from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST. This schedule ensures a 3 hour overlap with AEST for ANZ collaboration and a 5 hour overlap with GMT for UK collaboration. Technology stack: Python, Azure infrastructure, Azure AI Services, ETL pipelines, serverless microservices, vector databases, knowledge graphs, retrieval augmented generation architecture, large language models, prompt engineering Responsibilities: Design and develop backend and platform services using TypeScript in production environments Build and maintain scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure Design and optimize SQL and PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data models Develop and integrate APIs for internal services and external platforms Implement reliable AI enabled workflows, including automation and agentic patterns Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and maintainable development practices Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver platform capabilities Contribute to continuous improvement of platform performance, reliability, and scalability Requirements: Strong experience with TypeScript in production systems Solid experience with SQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance optimization, and data modeling Experience building backend or platform services on Azure Experience designing and integrating APIs, including service to service communication and external APIs Experience building reliable AI enabled workflows or automation solutions Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, and writing maintainable code Clear English communication skills Nice to have: Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, or vector databases Experience with CI CD pipelines and infrastructure as code Experience working with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud deployment operations Experience with observability tools including logging, tracing, and metrics Frontend experience with React for cross functional collaboration Project overview: This project focuses on designing and building a cloud based platform that enables intelligent data processing and knowledge discovery.
