Sr. Software Developer, PeopleSoft

Position: Sr. Software Developer. Location: 133 Keybridge Drive Suite E, MORRISVILLE, NC, 27560. Duties: • Design, implement, and support technical solutions supporting the new PeopleSoft HMC system based on input gathered from a variety of Sources including business systems analysts, functional consultants, analysis results and industry best practices. • Initiate and recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. • Understand industry practices and department policies and procedures relating to work assignments. • Ensure that system development life cycle and change management procedures are followed and documented to support each system development and change requests. • Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents, functional and technical designs, and code. • Apply advanced applications programming concepts in designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and evaluating highly complex conversion Programs. • Create migration packages and develop scripts for data and configuration to be migrated across instances. • Provide technical PeopleSoft 9.2 HMC subject matter expertise and leadership to the team. Collaborate with other staff on complex technical issues and provide alternative solutions. • Be a knowledgeable resource to mentor others less experienced in application development and production operations. • Provide support as needed to other project areas. • Provide second-level operational support as needed. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Embedded Electrical and Computer Systems, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or related field plus five years of progressive experience in any position or title providing experience with PeopleSoft. Special Requirements: Qualifying experience must include experience with PeopleSoft. Position requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S with expenses paid by the employer.
