Responsibilities

You will be responsible for creating detailed models and designs of low-voltage systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS) for our Data Centers.

• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models of low-voltage systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and BMS.

• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to integrate LV system designs with overall project plans.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications in all LV system designs.

• Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the performance and efficiency of LV systems.

• Provide technical support and expertise during the installation, testing, and commissioning of LV systems.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in LV system technologies, modelling practices, and industry trends to ensure innovative and efficient design solutions.

• Participate in project meetings and provide input on LV system design and implementation strategies.

• Utilise AutoCAD as required for 2D drawing preparation.

• Utilise Navisworks as required for federated model preparation and clash detection
-
• Produce clash free MEP Revit models.

• Work with point clouds to revise Revit models to align with site installation locations to meet LOD500 requirements

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Collaborate Pro.

Experience & Qualifications:
-
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in LV system modelling, with a focus on fire protection, plumbing, and BMS for Data Centres or similar critical infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in BIM modelling software, Revit and 2D drafting software and AutoCAD.

• In-depth knowledge of LV systems, including fire protection, plumbing, and BMS, and their application in Data

• Strong understanding of industry standards, building codes, and best practices related to LV systems (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
