Senior Network Engineer TX Core Migration & Upgrade Program Location India (remote) - Offshore Experience 15yrs + Description: Purpose : This role supports the endtoend implementation of the TxCore migration and upgrade program. The Senior Network Engineer will lead design validation, implementation, and stabilization of network components across hybrid environments. The position ensures seamless transformation of core banking network infrastructure while maintaining the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Key Results Area - Demonstrable experience delivering largescale network transformation and migration programs. - Expertlevel knowledge in routing, switching, cloud networking, SDWAN, and SDN. - Ability to validate and implement network designs supporting TxCore workloads. - Solid experience in hybrid network environments across datacenter, cloud, and campus. - Proven capability to manage vendor relationships and outsourced service providers. - Strong governance experience including change management, configuration management, and audit compliance. - Ensuring maximum uptime of network infrastructure and adherence to SLAs. - Strong technical documentation and reporting skills. Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries - Responsible for supporting TX Core migration across hybrid network infrastructure. - Manage network operations, performance reviews, and SLA compliance. - Enforce information security policies and audit requirements. - Support business continuity and highavailability designs for missioncritical systems. - Work across Cisco Networks (Cloud, Datacenter, Campus), MS Azure Networking, Aruba NAC/WiFi, and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and PRTG. - Engage in problem solving, incident management, and changing control disciplines. - Manage vendor and partner relationships. - Support technology lifecycle management and refresh initiatives. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required : Technical Skills : - Minimum 15 years of experience in enterpriselevel network engineering. - CCIE (Enterprise or Datacenter) Mandatory. - Expert knowledge in routing and switching technologies - Well versed with Cisco ACI setup. - Strong experience in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity. - Handson experience with SDWAN, SDN, and network automation (Python, Ansible). - Deep expertise in WAN routing (BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, IPSEC, GRE). - Experience with Aruba Wireless, ClearPass/CPPM, AirWave, and Central. - Experience with WAN optimization platforms (Riverbed, Silver Peak). - Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and advanced diagnostic tools. - Knowledge of endpoint network security (802.1x, NAC, ISE, port security, ARP inspection). - Working knowledge of SolarWinds, PRTG, and similar monitoring tools. - Understanding of Checkpoint, ASA, F5, IDS/IPS, and Packet brokers. - Strong understanding of information security principles. Service Management : - Strong understanding of ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management. - Experience contributing to service portfolio development and operational governance. Project Management : - Experience delivering complex network projects within time and budget. - Familiarity with project management methodologies. - PMP or PRINCE2 certification (desirable). Soft Skills : - Strong communication skills with ability to engage business and technical stakeholders. - Ability to present technical concepts to senior leadership. - Team player with strong collaboration skills. - High motivation, innovation mindset, and strong decisionmaking ability. - Willingness to support 24/7 migration and cutover windows.
