As a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in manufacturing and production, your role will be crucial in transforming raw materials into precision-machined components for the mining and drilling industry. You will bridge the gap between engineering design and production, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Create and analyze product designs to optimize for CNC machining, production, assembly, safety, and cost-effectiveness. - Develop, document, and refine manufacturing processes for metal components, including CNC milling, turning, grinding, and heat treatment. - Oversee CAM programming, select cutting tools, and establish machining parameters for various metals and alloys. - Establish in-process inspection points, interpret GD&T specifications, and address quality issues. - Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshoot machining problems, and implement corrective actions. - Collaborate with material suppliers on technical specifications and contribute to material selection and testing. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. - Hands-on experience in metal machining production, such as CNC machine shop. - Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. - Practical knowledge of CNC machining, G-code, and CAM software. - Experience with metallurgy of steels and alloys, including heat treatment processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication in Hindi and English.
