Position Overview: Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the position of Research Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess over 15-20 years of research experience. The role is focused on driving high-impact research projects, mentoring research scholars, and contributing to the university's mission of research excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering. Publish original research in high-impact international journals and present at premier conferences. Mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development. Secure external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners. Facilitate interdisciplinary research and foster collaborations within the university and with external institutions. Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture. Provide expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university. Contribute to academic leadership and participate in research-focused committees and initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution. A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry. Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputed journals and conferences. Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding. Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars. Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Desirable Attributes: Strong network with academic and industry research organizations.
