Backend QA (Bengaluru)

Key Responsibilities: - Robust experience in manual QA with focus on API testing, integration testing, and backend validation across distributed systems - Proficient in validating REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, curl, or similar; ability to analyse request/response, headers, and error handling - Solid understanding of Linux systems, including command-line usage, log analysis, process monitoring, and basic shell scripting for debugging and validation - Ability to debug issues across layers (API, service, DB) and identify root causes using logs and system behaviour - Skilled in writing detailed test cases, API test scenarios, and defect reports with clear reproduction steps and logs - Experience working in agile environments, collaborating with developers, and ensuring high product quality before release - Good understanding of automation for APIs using frameworks/tools such as Karate, RestAssured, or equivalent Experience using Javascript in any of the automation/manual projects .
