About the role
As a senior site reliability engineer at Deep.BI, you will be responsible for managing large-scale Kubernetes installations and network fabrics, specifically focusing on Calico in-depth across customer engagements. Your role will involve working with Enterprise-scale Apache Druid, StarRocks, Apache Flink, and Kubernetes networking within a distributed data platform environment. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, tune, upgrade, and handle incident responses across customer environments involving Calico. - Design BGP, plan IP pools, strategize NetworkPolicy, and make eBPF dataplane decisions. - Troubleshoot Kubernetes networking on AWS and bare metal, diagnosing live production issues end-to-end. - Lead Calico capability building across the engineering team and represent best practices in customer design reviews. Qualifications Required: - Several years of experience in maintaining and evolving large-scale Kubernetes clusters and Calico networking fabrics in mission-critical production environments. - Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations, Linux networking, TCP/IP, iptables/nftables, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS). - Hands-on experience with Calico on EKS and hardware fleet deployments with leaf-spine and BGP. - Ability to document incidents clearly and concisely, calm demeanor during production incidents, and strong communication skills.
