About the role
Rapidly develop electronics for Direct Air Carbon Capture reactors and supporting infrastructure including high power electronics, control systems and actuators, programmable logic controllers, reactor instrumentation, and harnessing. Create and review electrical load lists, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for various plant and facility designs. Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and testing. Design, procure components, integrate, and test electrical ground support equipment including data acquisition systems and electrical simulators. Create development and qualification testing campaigns to validate analysis and requirements and exercise designs to their limits. Build math and analysis models to verify initial design assumptions. Establish vendor relationships and healthy supply chain through each prototyping step through final integration. Lead multidisciplinary root cause investigations and component redesigns to improve reliability and production rate. Demonstrate extreme ownership of product outcomes at every stage of development and production.
