As a Mechanical Senior Principal Engineer-Data Center IT Rack Feasibility , you will interpret technology collateral to own complex mechanical designs, conduct selective detailed analyses, and prepare test plans to validate function, reliability, and compliance. You will

• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative, customer-centric data center infrastructure and high-density rack solutions

• Lead a design team to develop mechanical and thermal components for air and liquid-cooled systems, leveraging 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create sheet metal, plastic, die-cast, and complex assemblies

• Lead a design team to develop, prototype, and evaluate new concepts for feasibility, performance, reliability, and manufacturability, utilizing engineering analysis tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) where appropriate

• Interpret technical specifications and supplier documentation to support design decisions and optimize thermal, mechanical, and system-level performance

• Collaborate with and influence technology partners, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and tooling teams to create robust designs while improving scalability, serviceability, and cost efficiency
