As a Product Operations Engineering Technician 3 at Dell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in managing Test Engineering activities in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. Your responsibilities will include working in shift operations, collaborating with Manufacturing operations and the extended team on Test strategy engineering. You will be instrumental in developing suitable testing plans and frameworks to address and mitigate mass production test failures. Your role will involve executing test plans to validate software functionality against requirements, ensuring New Product Launch Test Readiness, and reporting test results and defects to the development team for resolution. By performing final tests, you will identify product weaknesses, strengths, and opportunities for improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop suitable testing plans and frameworks aligned with products to address mass production test failures (First Pass Yield). - Execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications. - Ensure New Product Launch Test Readiness through systematic approaches for Manufacturing Test Validation & Capability. - Report test results and defects to the development team and stakeholders and collaborate on their resolution. - Perform final tests to identify product weaknesses, strengths, and opportunities for improvements. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge in Products troubleshooting and Manufacturing installation test development. - Proficiency in Python, C#, SQL, Batch Scripting, ASP.NET, Windows Forms App, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. - Experience in creating software and executing automation scripts using open-source tools such as VB, SQL, and Python. - Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills. - Desirable: 1-2 years of relevant experience. - Desirable: BCA, BSc in Computer Science, or B.E in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology Engineering.
