Work you’ll do: In this role you will – In Valuation and Financial Reporting Perform and analyze reserve balances under GAAP, Statutory, and Tax Consolidate valuation results Prepare Statutory filings and exhibits Perform quarterly GAAP earnings review and memos Perform reconciliation of actuarial ledger accounts Perform SOX and MAR controls Support audit and external stakeholder The team: Our Insights, Innovation & Operate Offering is designed to enhance key aspects of our clients' businesses by leveraging cutting-edge technology, data, and a blend of deep technical and human expertise. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience Good verbal and written communication skills (ability to prepare and present results) Technical Skills Advanced Excel skills including powering queries; Microsoft word, Microsoft PPT Programming knowledge in SQL, VBA & SAS Data transformation on Microsoft Access Analytical Skills Detail oriented and well organized Analytical mindset, strong problem solver with math or analytics background Experience performing analysis and explanation Development or design of trends and analytics Statistical analysis of large data sets Operational Skills Life insurance and annuity product knowledge Annuity product knowledge GAAP, Statutory, Tax reserving knowledge
