About the role
Deloitte is hiring for the role of Consultant - Oracle GTM Techno! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Lead requirement gathering workshops with cross-functional stakeholders across Trade Compliance, Customs, Logistics, Finance, and IT. Document end-to-end cross-border trade processes including import/export flows, FTAs, restricted party screening, embargo controls, licensing, and customs filings. Define business rules for product classification (HS/HTS), ECCN/dual-use, country of origin, valuation, preference claims, and trade document needs. Configure Oracle GTM objects and business rules for Trade Item/Product Master, Restricted Party Screening (RPS), embargoes, license management, and preference programs. Design and validate integrations between Oracle GTM and enterprise systems (Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP, OMS, WMS/TMS, PLM/PIM, and customs brokers) via APIs, flat files, or middleware (e.g., OIC). Support data conversion/migration, master data governance, role-based access controls, and compliance audit trail setups. Plan and execute SIT/UAT, compliance scenario testing, defect triage, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare support. Develop SOPs, work instructions, and end-user training materials for compliance and operational teams. Define and validate trade compliance reporting requirements to ensure continuous audit readiness and control evidence. Requirements: Core Expertise: 2–4 years of hands-on functional or techno-functional experience implementing or supporting Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM). Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of restricted party screening, sanctions, import/export controls, HS/HTS classification, licensing controls, and FTA qualification logic. Technical Skills: Integration literacy (APIs, flat files, middleware like OIC, data mapping, error handling), data analysis skills (SQL for defect triage), and familiarity with Oracle SCM/ERP ecosystems. Functional Skills: Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process diagrams, and test scripts. Professional Attributes: Exceptional stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, scope control, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
