Senior Automation Solutions Engineer

As a Senior Automation Solutions Engineer at Deluxe Media, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering AI-driven automation solutions that optimize business processes such as reporting, reconciliation, data processing, forecasting, and workflows. By applying prompt engineering, context engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) principles, you will create intelligent, auditable, and explainable AI workflows that significantly impact finance, HR, operations, sales, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Build Copilot Studio Copilots and seamlessly integrate them within Power Platform applications (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) to develop conversational and intelligent assistants. Create workflow orchestrations with humans in the loop (HIL) for review, approval, and feedback. - Develop AI-driven automation solutions across various business departments using Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI APIs to optimize core operations. Design and integrate agentic AI workflows for process automation. - Utilize prompt engineering and context engineering techniques to design AI workflows that ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant outputs. Ground responses with enterprise data sources using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques. - Craft secure and scalable solutions by integrating data from ERP systems (SAP), enterprise workflow systems, external APIs, and Excel documents. Build scalable automation scripts for data wrangling and integration with ERP systems using Python. - Provide support for financial planning and forecasting models through data-driven insights and AI-assisted analytics. Ensure all solutions adhere to corporate standards for data governance, security, and auditability. - Mentor analysts and developers on best practices in AI workflow design, Power Platform development, and prompt engineering. Required Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, finance, or data science. - Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis, automation solutioning, and business process automation across multiple departments. Hands-on experience with Excel, Power Platform, LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI API. - Technical Skills: Expertise in prompt engineering, context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Python, SQL, Azure AI, OpenAI models, REST/GraphQL APIs. - Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, ability to mentor junior staff, and foster innovation in AI and automation.
