Testing ETL Senior

Role Overview: As a Data Analytics Test Lead at EY, you will be responsible for testing Business Intelligence & Data warehousing Solutions both on premise and cloud platforms to ensure the quality of deliverables. You will collaborate closely with the Test Manager for the Projects under Test. Testing proficiency in ETL data-warehousing data automation using Python/TOSCA and Business Intelligence area are essential for this position. An added advantage would be having experience in testing Big Data/unstructured data using Hadoop/Spark framework knowledge in predictive analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Test Strategy for Testing BI & DWH Projects including ETL testing, Reports testing (Front end and Backend Testing), Integration Testing, and UAT as needed. - Provide inputs for Test Planning aligned with Test Strategy and perform Test Case design identifying opportunities for Test Automation. - Develop Test Cases both Manual and Automation Scripts as required. - Ensure Test readiness by coordinating testing efforts with cross-functional teams and establishing data quality standards, data profiling, and data cleansing procedures. - Deliver Testing needs for BI & DWH Projects including unstructured data/big data testing in on-premise and cloud platforms. - Thoroughly understand Requirements, provide feedback on the requirements, execute tests, report progress, report defects, and liaise with development & relevant teams for defect resolution. - Prepare Test Reports, provide inputs for Test Sign off/Closure, support in Project meetings/calls with Clients, and provide insights on Test Metrics to Test Manager/Lead. - Support in Analysis of Metric trends and implementing improvement actions as necessary, handle changes, conduct Regression Testing, generate Test Summary Reports, and co-ordinate team members across geographies. - Interact with client-side personnel to solve issues, update status, and actively participate in providing Analytics and Advanced Analytics Testing trainings within the company. Qualification Required: - BE/BTech/MCA with a minimum of 8 years of experience testing Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence solutions, including at least 3 years with BI & DWH technologies and Analytics applications. Preferred Skills: - Strong in Data warehouse testing - ETL and BI and exposure to reporting tools such as Cognos/PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik. - Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS, SAP Data services, AWS Glue, Azure Data factory. - Proficient in SQL with experience in writing complex data validation SQLs on databases like Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata/Snowflake/Postgres/Redshift. - Familiarity with data services of leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and knowledge on data platforms like Databricks, Azure synapse. - Validate data integrity and consistency across various stages of ETL pipelines and experience in master data management (MDM) is an added advantage. - Working experience with python data processing is desirable.
