About the role
Role Overview: As a QA Engineer at the company, your role is to ensure that the developed software meets client requirements and business quality standards within the project release cycle and established processes. This position also offers you the opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in various QA areas. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute accurate test cases as per requirements, analyze results, and raise issues within the schedule. - Improve fundamental understanding of the business Quality Assurance process, enhance domain knowledge, and understand testing process delivery methodology tools, etc. - Follow QA best practices in all aspects of the QA function. - Actively participate in test planning by identifying testing requirements, scope, and estimates. - Ensure optimal test coverage comprising positive, negative, and exception scenarios. - Log defects with the right priority, track them to closure, and understand the root cause of an issue. - Analyze and execute automation test scripts. - Participate in planning and estimation of testing. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current processes and policies. - Familiarize, document, and communicate a clear picture of project deliverables both internally and externally.
