Position SummaryWe are seeking a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS HIPAA Specialist) to architect, implement, and maintain DentTracks HIPAAcompliant SaaS infrastructure. This role ensures the platform is secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for cost and performance. The engineer will be handson in building AWS infrastructure with automation, working closely with developers, security, and product teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage HIPAAeligible AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2 H200, S3, CloudFront, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, VPC networking).Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK.Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo Rollouts) for microservices and frontend deployments.Configure security guardrails: IAM least privilege, KMS encryption, WAF, Shield Advanced, GuardDuty, Security Hub.Manage multiregion, highavailability architecture with failover and disaster recovery plans.Support monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).Optimize cost efficiency through autoscaling, reserved instances, and capacity blocks (for GPUs).Collaborate with Security Engineers to ensure HIPAA, SOC2, and BAA compliance across infrastructure.Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and oncall rotation for critical systems.Qualifications2+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.Deep experience with AWS HIPAAeligible services and security best practices.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas, PrivateLink, and VPC networking.Experience with HIPAA/SOC2 security controls and audit requirements.Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.Strong problemsolving, documentation, and communication skills. .
