About the role
As an Automation Tester in Data Engineering at our company based in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Hands-on automation testing experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing - Proficiency in Docker - Experience working on any Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Experience in ETL Testing is a must - Automation testing using Pytest or Scalatest - Strong SQL skills and data validation techniques - Familiarity with data processing tools such as ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive - Sound knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies - Ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable test scripts - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have exposure to additional test frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts for data pipelines - Performing comprehensive data validation and quality assurance - Collaborating with data engineers, developers, and stakeholders - Troubleshooting issues and improving test reliability - Ensuring consistent testing standards across development cycles We look forward to having you join our team as an Automation Tester with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
