Role Overview: You will be joining our DevOps team as an expert in MySQL administration and Development to help scale our database platform hosted on AWS. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our MySQL databases, which currently handle several TBs of transactional data and are expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 5-7 years of experience as a MySQL Developer - Demonstrate expertise in deployment, monitoring, tuning, and administration of high concurrency MySQL production databases - Have a good understanding of MySQL parameters - Experience in data migration is a must - Exhibit strong communication skills - Ability to take full ownership of availability and security of production data Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelors degree in software development, computer science, business intelligence, information technology, data management, or related fields - Possess advanced knowledge of database procedures and MySQL Server concepts - Familiarity with one or more SQL variant like MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL - Proficient in creating fast and efficient database queries, including joining and cross-referencing cells from multiple tables - Knowledge of standard database management tools and software such as Microsoft Access, Oracle Database, and phpMyAdmin - Excellent communication skills Additional Company Details: The company's platform is entirely hosted on AWS, with MySQL databases at its core.
