About the role
As a skilled and motivated Process Engineer with expertise in Aspen HYSYS, EPC project execution, and gas processing systems, you will play a vital role in process design, simulation, and optimization for upstream and midstream oil & gas projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Act professionally and with due diligence to safeguard the Company's interests in all business activities. - Assist in the technical evaluation of contracts and planning and scheduling. - Coordinate work productivity monitoring and support the preparation of project invoices. - Liaise with clients for reporting purposes and perform any other duties assigned by management. In the area of Process Simulation and Design, you will: - Develop and validate process simulations using Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar tools. - Design and optimize PFDs and P&IDs. - Perform equipment sizing and conduct material and energy balances for gas processing systems. - Execute line sizing and pressure drop calculations. Your expertise in EPC Project Execution will involve: - Supporting FEED and detailed engineering phases. - Preparing and reviewing process datasheets, specifications, and technical bid evaluations. - Coordinating with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. - Ensuring timely delivery of process deliverables and assisting in vendor selection and quality assurance. In Gas Processing Expertise, you will: - Design and troubleshoot systems for gas sweetening, dehydration, compression, and NGL recovery. - Evaluate and select appropriate process technologies for upstream and midstream applications. - Support flare system design, relief load calculations, and dynamic simulations. Concerning Safety & Compliance, you will: - Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design safety reviews. - Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant standards. - Contribute to process safety analysis and environmental impact assessments. For Cross-Functional Collaboration, you will: - Interface with mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and electrical teams. - Provide technical support to clients, vendors, and subcontractors. - Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and project meetings. Your responsibilities will also include Documentation & Reporting: - Prepare technical reports, operating manuals, and process narratives. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation. - Support knowledge transfer and training for junior engineers. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and 12-15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and other simulation tools such as Aspen Plus and ProMax is required for this role.
