About the role
Position Summary:
Perform NVH simulation and analysis at the vehicle body and component level.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and refine FE models of vehicle body structures and components for NVH analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., Nastran).
Conduct modal, frequency response, and transfer path analyses to evaluate and improve structural NVH performance.
Perform component-level vibration and acoustic assessments and recommend design countermeasures.
Execute fatigue/durability assessments (using FE-Safe) as needed to validate structural integrity under operational loads.
Document and present technical findings clearly, including methods, results, and recommendations, to internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
4–5 years of experience in NVH CAE analysis for automotive body structures or similar components.
Proficiency in CAE software such as Nastran, OptiStruct, Abaqus; familiarity with fatigue tools like FE-Safe or nCode is a plus.
Understanding of vehicle body construction, joining methods, and structural dynamics principles.
