About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Emissions and Simulation Engineer with expertise in 0D/1D CFD modeling and emissions systems. In this role, you will support the development and validation of powertrain and aftertreatment systems through simulation, with a focus on tailpipe (ATS) and evaporative emissions. The ideal candidate will have around 3 years of hands-on experience using GT-Suite, Exothermia, and/or GT-xCHEM, and will work closely with our engineering team to drive innovation in emissions reduction and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, calibrate, and validate 0D/1D CFD models for internal combustion engines, aftertreatment systems, and evaporative emission systems using GT-Suite, Exothermia, and/or GT-xCHEM.
Perform simulations to analyze tailpipe emissions (NOx, CO, HC, PM) and evaporative emissions, supporting compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into powertrain design, calibration, and control strategies.
Support the development of aftertreatment system (ATS) models, including DOC, DPF, SCR, and ASC components.
Contribute to model-based calibration and optimization of engine and emissions control systems.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Stay updated with emerging simulation tools, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in emissions engineering.
