Principal Software Engineer, Financial Trading Platform

Role Overview: You will be joining Deutsche Brse Group's India centre in Hyderabad as a senior Software Engineer to work on the further development of the leading-edge Trading System T7. Your primary responsibility will involve supporting order and quote management, as well as on- and off-book trading services for simple and complex instruments. You will lead a motivated team in an international environment, focusing on maintaining high service quality while incorporating functional and technical improvements in a rapidly evolving domain. Effective collaboration with various teams within the organization is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance the T7 Reference Data System (RDS) software throughout its lifecycle - Collaborate with team members, business analysts, and other stakeholders to tailor solutions - Respond to ad hoc inquiries from Simulation and Production teams - Take ownership of assigned topics by managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables independently Qualification Required: - University degree in business studies or engineering, or a similar qualification - Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a developer, with at least 5 years in Java application development - Proficiency in application servers, JPA, SQL, and XML technologies - Familiarity with Linux, GitHub, Jenkins, and Eclipse - Positive attitude towards learning new technologies and high self-motivation - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration abilities - Excellent communication skills in English - Basic knowledge of exchange services and trading is advantageous (Note: Additional details about Deutsche Brse Group's India centre and its focus on crafting advanced IT solutions have been omitted from the job description) Role Overview: You will be joining Deutsche Brse Group's India centre in Hyderabad as a senior Software Engineer to work on the further development of the leading-edge Trading System T7.
