Cloud Engineer, Assistant Vice President

In this role with Deutsche Bank, you will be part of the Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank team, specifically working with Partnerdata, the central client reference data system in Germany. Your focus will be on technical solutions such as mainframe, onpremise cloud, RESTful services, and an angular frontend. Additionally, you will work on maintaining and implementing new CTB requirements, with a content emphasis on regulatory and tax topics related to partners/clients. The team is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the Big Data and Google Cloud area. Key Responsibilities: - Implement project requirements on the GCP cloud using Dataproc and Composer throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Design business requirements, establish process architecture, and define enhancements for current functionalities. - Support the migration of current functionalities to Google Cloud. - Ensure the stability of the application landscape and support software releases. - Provide support in L3 topics and application governance. Qualifications Required: - Experience with databases such as HDFS, BigQuery, etc., and development, preferably for Big Data/GCP technologies. - Architectural skills for big data solutions, especially interface architecture. - Experience in tools like Spark, Maven, Artifactory, Hadoop Ecosystem, TeamCity, and Bitbucket. - Knowledge of customer reference data, customer opening processes, and regulatory topics related to know your customer processes. - Strong teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and constructively towards targets. - Excellent English communication skills for professional and informal interactions within the team.
