IT Application Owner

Role Overview: You will be a part of the SeS Tech IT application core committees and lead the DB IT risk reduction program for the SeS applications allocated to you. Your primary responsibility will be to drive proactive changes and actively participate in various TDI/CB TEC-SeS tech risk and compliance initiatives. Additionally, you will be involved in regulatory and market audit finding closures for the supported applications. As a member of the L3 teams, you will take ownership of IT application delivery to meet the DB IT Risk and Compliance needs by collaborating with application delivery teams, application support teams, and audit teams. Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks related to IT application ownership for a set of applications within the Securities Services domain. Key Responsibilities: - Drive proactive changes and lead the DB IT risk reduction program for the allocated SeS applications - Participate in various TDI/CB TEC-SeS tech risk and compliance initiatives - Close regulatory and market audit findings for the supported applications - Take ownership of IT application delivery to meet DB IT Risk and Compliance needs - Ensure applications meet the Technology Road Map Compliance (TRC) - Work on New Application Repository (NAR) to remediate data quality issues - Analyze and remediate SII/Audit data and prioritize demands - Manage Jira projects for risk and compliance tasks - Conduct NFRM mapping and deep dive into data for remediation - Follow Agile project working for Risk and Compliance deliveries - Manage patch management across infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate high-level requirements clearly - Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities and manage internal and external audits - Manage application-related Risk and Compliance Evaluation tasks - Respond to detailed administrative information for IT Policy & Standards compliance - Manage IT Security incidents in the application - Plan and manage Application and Database Events monitoring - Forecast and monitor application and database capacity - Plan for Application Hardware/Software/License upgrades or migration activities Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 12+ years of industry experience focusing on risk and compliance domain - Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle using Agile framework - Hands-on development experience with various software languages, dev tools, APIs, and Microservices - Familiarity with Scrum master, Jira project management, and building risk and compliance reports - Conversant with ITL framework - Strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and communication skills - Excellent team player with a willingness to learn business and technology - Good written and spoken communication skills Company Additional Details: N/A Role Overview: You will be a part of the SeS Tech IT application core committees and lead the DB IT risk reduction program for the SeS applications allocated to you.
