The DevOps Engineer will own endtoend DevOps engineering for Javabased applications deployed on WebLogic or Tomcat servers. This includes CI/CD pipeline ownership, environment automation, observability, and enabling high availability, secure deployments. You will bring an innovative approach to software development, focusing on using the latest technologies and practices, as part of a relentless focus on business value. You will be ready to contribute to all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis right through to production support. Key Responsibilities: - Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for Java microservices. - Ensure secure and highly available deployments. - Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using New Relic, Geneos, Splunk, or cloud-native equivalents. - Support incident, problems, change management, and SDLC processes aligned with CI/CD and DevOps processes. - Automate build, deployment, and release processes using Maven/Gradle, Git. - Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams for smooth resolution of issues ensuring uptime of the testing / production environments. Qualifications Required: - 12-15+ years of DevOps experience supporting Java-based enterprise systems. - Proven experience working in Agile/DevOps collaborative environments. - Strong experience with Core Java ecosystem (services, APIs, REST, microservices). - Practical experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, New Relic, Geneos, or cloud-native equivalents. - Graduate degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent. - Ability to guide developers on DevOps best practices.
