Role Overview: As a Java Front End Developer (Midrange) - AVP at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will be part of the Investments agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining applications for the securities business of Private Customers. Working in an Agile DevOps model, you will prioritize quality, stability, and time to market while continuously delivering value to clients. You will collaborate with diverse teams in Germany and India, utilizing agile and virtual collaboration techniques to achieve continuous deployment, process improvement, and internalizing engineering know-how. Your role will involve working closely with business and operation units to enforce the development team within a Squad and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements, develop, deploy, and test software throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. - Focus on software design, development, and unit-testing activities, including peer code reviews. - Provide high-quality solutions meeting both functional and non-functional requirements. - Actively participate in sprint activities and ceremonies such as daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, and refinements. - Collaborate with team members to achieve sprint objectives. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years' experience in Java solution design and development, including Spring and/or frontend driven development with JavaScript, including React. - Strong experience with APIs, microservices, integrating external and internal web services (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML), message-driven approaches, database technology (JPA/Oracle), and integration patterns (e.g., Kafka). - Experience with cloud development platforms (Spring Cloud; OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker) and DevOps tool chain (GIT, TeamCity, JIRA). - Solid knowledge of software design patterns (and anti-patterns) in general and Java Spring Boot specifically. - Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM environments, agile tooling, investment business, and operations. - Pro-active team player with excellent communication and English language skills.
