About the role
Description The Lead QA Automation Engineer is responsible for defining and executing testing strategies, plans, and deliverables across applications and programmes within the domain. The role focuses on ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance through robust test automation, robust quality engineering practices, and continuous improvement. Design and execute testing frameworks and procedures to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Investigate defects and issues where software or technical products do not perform as expected. Implement quality assurance practices that support business and delivery objectives. Drive adoption of recognised best practices, policies, and standards while contributing to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies and assets. Partner with teams across the organisation to elevate QA standards and promote engineering excellence. Track defects and compile metrics and KPI information for reporting and decision-making. Contribute across key testing disciplines, including test automation, test processes, and testing products.
