Principal iOS Engineer

As a highly skilled Principal iOS Engineer, you will lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable mobile applications used by millions of customers. Your extensive experience in building high-performance iOS applications in product-based environments and strong expertise in VIPER and MVVM architecture patterns will be crucial for this role. Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture, design, and development of large-scale iOS applications. - Drive engineering excellence, code quality, performance optimization, and application scalability. - Define and implement mobile architecture using VIPER and MVVM design patterns. - Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. - Mentor senior engineers and establish engineering best practices. - Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions. - Build reusable components and frameworks to accelerate development. - Ensure application security, reliability, maintainability, and performance. - Evaluate and implement modern mobile technologies and development methodologies. Requirements: - 11-14 years of overall software development experience with a strong focus on iOS development. - Expert-level proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK. - Strong hands-on experience with VIPER and MVVM architecture patterns. - Deep understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and modern iOS frameworks. - Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and mobile networking. - Strong knowledge of multithreading, memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization. - Experience with Dependency Injection, Modular Architecture, and Design Patterns. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Strong understanding of App Store deployment and release management processes.
