Mixed Signal Hardware Lead

As an embedded hardware engineer at our company, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be involved in designing and leading the development of entire hardware systems, including selecting microcontrollers, sensors, and connectivity modules. Additionally, you will evaluate and choose components based on performance, cost, power efficiency, and scalability. Your role will also include creating schematics, managing Bill of Materials (BOM), and ensuring efficient PCB layouts. You will develop prototypes, conduct testing, and collaborate with firmware and software teams for seamless integration. Moreover, you will define design standards, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and leading the development of entire hardware systems - Evaluating and selecting components based on performance, cost, power efficiency, and scalability - Creating schematics, managing Bill of Materials (BOM), and ensuring efficient PCB layouts - Developing prototypes, conducting rigorous testing, and ensuring reliability, performance, and durability - Collaborating with firmware and software teams for seamless integration - Defining design standards, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication - 7+ years of experience as an embedded hardware engineer - Deep understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and wireless protocols (BLE, LoRa, Cellular) - Proficiency in circuit design, signal processing, PCB design tools, and debugging techniques - Proven track record of developing and launching IoT Hardware Products - Experience with communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and power management This job will also involve team leadership responsibilities, including training staff, managing workers, delegating tasks, monitoring metrics, analyzing data, and reporting on performance.
