About the role
As a QA Architect, you will be responsible for the following key activities: - Help with and implement our QA Architectural Artifacts, including: - All testing systems, their feedback loops, mechanisms, logging, reporting, and interconnectivity - Process artifacts detailing quality controls and test mechanisms across the entire SDLC - Implementation level architecture for scalable and maintainable testing strategies across Web, Mobile, Data Engineering, AI, etc. - Contribution to and maintenance of org wide Architecture Decision Records - Support the delivery and maintenance of QA Engineering Policies, Procedures, and Standards by: - Implementing CI/CD practices, environment configuration, and feedback loops - Managing backend tooling, frameworks, quality gating, and measurement - Providing technology stack/services consultancy and selection aligned with technical and quality requirements - Support QA Operational Practices by: - Driving eCommerce automation projects - Conducting Integration, Acceptance, Performance, and Security level testing - Governing, training, and promoting good testing practices - Drive best in class QA strategies by: - Ensuring customer satisfaction - Collaborating with Principal Engineers to advocate for Quality Automation needs - Facilitating knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring of QA practices In addition to the responsibilities mentioned, you should possess the following skills: - Extensive knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as Junit, Jest, Mocha, Playwright, Appium, Selenium, etc. - Experience in implementing strong quality controls using industry-leading tooling - Knowledge of SAP offerings and programming languages/frameworks - Expertise in testing strategy, test case definition, and execution - Experience with CI/CD processes and ITSM controls - Familiarity with containerization technologies, REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture principles - Ability to empathize with customers and drive testing strategies aligned with their needs - Proficiency in diagramming tools and methodologies - Strong communication and presentation skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience Your expertise and experience will be crucial in driving quality assurance practices and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.
