Head of DevOps

Role Description The Head of DevOps is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for leading the DevOps function and driving automation, reliability, and scalability across DesignXs platforms, including Df-OS. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment practices. The Head of DevOps collaborates closely with software development, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration, high availability, and secure operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining DevOps standards, mentoring and directing the DevOps team, optimizing Linux-based environments, and continuously improving release cycles and incident response. The role also involves evaluating new tools and technologies, implementing best practices, and contributing to strategic decisions around architecture and infrastructure. Qualifications : Strong background in Software Development and DevOps practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Hands-on experience in managing Infrastructure, including cloud or on-premise environments, automation tools, and monitoring solutions. Expertise in Continuous Integration and delivery, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency with Linux systems, including system administration, performance tuning, and security hardening. Demonstrated Team Leadership skills, including mentoring, setting technical direction, and managing cross-functional collaboration. Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly beneficial. Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and high-availability architectures in production environments. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Noida and coordinate with stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership teams. .
