As a DevOps Engineer (CI/CD) at DHL IT Services, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other relevant technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other relevant tools. - Building and deploying Java-based applications using Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins. - Developing and managing infrastructure as code using Ansible and other configuration management tools. - Deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes. - Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. - Monitoring and maintaining system health, performance, and security. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments. - Continuously improving and optimizing deployment processes and practices. - Documenting processes, configurations, and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer. - Strong proficiency with Ansible for configuration management. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and management. - Proficient in using GitHub and GitHub Actions for source code management and automation. - Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. - Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AKS, Azure, Openshift) is a plus. - Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus). - Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
