Power BI Developer Risk Analytics

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and building Power BI dashboards and reports specifically tailored for the Risk team. Your role will involve translating business requirements into technical specifications, integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing data models and DAX queries, and collaborating with risk analysts to address regulatory and compliance reporting needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for the Risk team. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective data visualizations. - Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel, and other banking systems. - Optimize data models and DAX queries for improved performance and scalability. - Collaborate with risk analysts to address regulatory and compliance reporting needs. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all reports. - Provide support and training for end-users on Power BI functionalities. - Participate in data governance and quality initiatives within the Risk department. Qualifications Required: - Total IT Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in IT roles. - Power BI Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development. - Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques. - Experience working with SQL Server, Excel, and a variety of other data sources. - Familiarity with banking risk concepts, especially IFRS 9, is highly desirable. - Understanding of ETL processes and principles of data warehousing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management capabilities.
